The McCurdy Smokehouse Museum offers the opportunity to see a bit of Downeast Maine’s typical waterfronts of the past…a sight that is quickly disappearing from the scenic coastal communities such as Lubec. Five buildings that formed the McCurdy Smokehouse remain today. Restoration and maintenance of these buildings is an ongoing project and requires the generous support of donors and volunteers to keep these historic buildings for future generations to see.
There are many ways you can support Lubec Landmarks’ ongoing restoration projects of the McCurdy Smokehouse complex.
